Blue screen FX can be done using the new Image FX 2.0.1. It does an excellent
job I was told (my friend is beta testing it). He used crude video grabs of
himself on blue background and mapped it on backgrounds. He said that it not
only digitally (new word) keyed out the blue, but mapped his shadow that cast
from poor lighting onto the background.
I can't wait to see it. For right now there is the option of using LW
foreground color thresholds (upper and lower). I've had good results with it.
Also there's a plug-in for PhotoShop by some company that also does this. I
don't know who makes it but it's top of the line (used for the cinema) and
costly.
Later,
